Finally here is the last of the weekly observations:
This had the lowest number of observed organisms out of the experiment but I still observed numerous Difflugia Corona this week, the most I have seen so far. But one organism stood out from all of them because it had the most movement. It was the "aquatic insect larva" that Dr. Macfarland named because neither of us could find its exact name. There are three pictures listed from it one being the main body as a whole, the second as the head, and the third being the foot (Covich and Thorp 1991). Other than that organism no other larva or microorganism stood out.

Week 4
Week 4, woo here we go
I noticed the largest amount of organisms this week. A lot of them were the Difflugia Corona pictured above (Hayden 1879).
Another organism I noticed was the Cyclpos sp. which will be pictured in my next blog.
The organisms were active and abundant today! woo

Week 3 results
Week three was started by adding:"Atison's Betta Food" made by Ocean Nutrition, Aqua Pet Americas, 3528 West 500 South, Salt Lake City, UT 84104. Ingredients: Fish meal, wheat flower, soy meal, krill meal, minerals, vitamins and preservatives. Analysis: Crude Protein 36%; Crude fat 4.5%; Crude Fiber 3.5%; Moisture 8% and Ash 15%.
But on observations I several organisms and larvae. I noticed one large insect larva by the betta food towards the top. i also noticed dozens of small fast moving organelles moving very fast and spontaneously through out. I also noticed what appeared to be a shelled-looking gorganism as well.
Well thats week three observations
till next week later daysss

Week 2
So here i am again for week 2 findings
This week i noticed a lot more organisms moving and floating around. The largest of them, being long, with a pointed nose about one centimeter long, had already died at the bottom of the container. But close to it I saw a rather large but not as big, living creature. It was long, moving, looked as if it was eating the soil adn had a rounded face. Other than those two, i saw about 4 more organelles. One was green and purple with a rounded body and a tail, one floating around above the dead organism, one medium sized long bodied with spots inside of the that looked like soil or something dark. The face of this creature had tentacles. But there was also something in the soil in the middle of my tank that shook the ground but never ventured out.
THat was my findings for week 2 next will be th tank with added food.

Week 1- the Set up Week
Today i am posting my first week late, its been a busy two weeks but here i finally am.
After setting up my little tank and finally getting to look into it, i found a looked at about 4 different little organisms in there all looking about the same but all varying in sizes. One was small, 2 about medium sized, and the last was much larger. Of course all sizes are to the respect that i just compared them to each other really they are all pretty tiny. But i noticed them to be round and mostly spread about and only one which to me looked like a horror movies worm with the head looking like jagged teeth, was moving about bouncing around in its little area. but that was the only odd organism there, the others were round or at least looked round due to their stillness. But thats mainly what i noticed in the set up week i should be back tomorrow after looking at the growth in week two.
